Registration closes May 19th
〰️
Registration closes May 19th 〰️
Summer is a time for fun AND we can still practice executive functions! In fact, learning about executive functions in a way that is interesting, will only help when we need to use them in more “boring” or challenging areas.
Summer Groups consist of up to 4 group members of similar ages running for seven sessions beginning early June and finishing late July.
These summer groups are all focused around a specific topic: baking, crafting, legos, “adulting” or college transitions (learn more below) while teaching/working on skills such as:
Decision Making
Planning
Prioritizing
Self Regulation
Flexible Thinking
Time Management
Task Initiation
Self Awareness
Leadership
Teamwork
Patience
Self Confidence

College Transitions
This group is aimed at supporting those that are transitioning to college, whether it’s the first time or for a recurring year. This is usually the first time these students have been completely independent and in charge of their own day to day activities which not only can be exciting but also can be difficult and overwhelming at the same time.
We will use this summer to begin that prep work so that when they head off in August, they are feeling prepared! This group also includes two “check in” zoom sessions that will be held in August/September after they have gotten settled into their new norm.
