Hi, I’m Kayci!

It’s wonderful to have you here!

For the longest time, counseling and therapy have been the only services available for kids struggling with executive function challenges and as amazing (and needed) as those services are, sometimes it’s not the correct fit. That’s one reason why I’ve fallen in love with coaching. It can be exactly what is missing in a child’s life. It’s about education, self awareness and action. Through coaching, the client will have tangible strategies and tools to put in place that can truly make a difference in their lives.

A unique perspective that I bring to my coaching is my background in education. During my years as a Professional School Counselor, I was the Section 504 Accommodation Plan coordinator where I implemented and supported accommodation plans for students with disabilities. I was also a member of the Leadership and Child Study Teams where I collaborated with other educators to create and implement student interventions and school-wide social emotional learning programs. This experience has really helped me understand and navigate the challenges that my clients face at school while being able to help bridge that gap in communication with their educators.

I received both my B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in School Counseling from Emporia State University. I have completed a Certification of Play Therapy program through Midamerica Nazarene University and have over 100 accredited executive function coaching training hours through ADD Coach Academy.

I would love to talk with you more about what coaching can do for your child and family!
